International Green Chemistry Conference Returns in 2026

The 10th Green & Sustainable Chemistry Conference will take place in Dresden, Germany, 18–20 May 2026. Organised by the Green Chemistry Teaching and Learning Community (GCTLC) and catalyzed by Merck, the event will gather researchers, policymakers, industry and public-sector professionals to discuss practical solutions for safer, more sustainable chemistry.

Key topics include Safe and Sustainable by Design, greener procurement, regulation, and innovation in chemical production. Sweden’s Mistra SafeChem programme contributes to this global agenda by developing tools that support sustainable chemical choices in both industry and the public sector.
