Mistra SafeChem at European SSbD Summit in Venice
Programme Director Patrik Andersson represented Mistra SafeChem at the SSbD Summit and ChemCon Europe 2025 meeting held in October 2025 in Venice, Italy. Insightful presentations at the SSbD Summit were given by Mistra SafeChem partners Anna-Karin Hellberg, RISE, Nina Melander, RISE and Lidia Ceriani, Merck. Patrik Andersson was moderator at the SSbD Summit and presented our project at a session on Sustainable Tuesday at ChemCon Europe 2025, led by Michael Siebold, Merck. The ChemCon meeting provided a unique opening for our project to interact with key stakeholders from industry and regulatory bodies.
By contributing expertise from the programme’s research and innovation activities, Mistra SafeChem – together with key partners such as RISE – is helping shape the future framework for safe chemical innovation in Europe.
